A letter from our CEO

Dear Superior National Bank Customers:

Governor Whitmer recently issued a shelter-in-place order throughout the State of Michigan, due to COVID-19. Under her order, banking is classified as an essential service and we do not take that responsibility lightly. As we adjust and modify banking services to accommodate for social distancing, I want to assure you that our banking team is working hard to ensure you receive the same superior customer experience you have come to expect.

Superior National Bank remains open for drive thru services and necessary branch appointments. Our online banking system is robust and working at the highest levels. All departments remain accessible and are processing normal business. Most importantly, you can contact the customer service team at 1.866.482.0404 with any questions.

This year, Superior National Bank is celebrating its 130th year of service to our community. The Bank has weathered several wars, the great depression, recessions, the polio outbreak and many other obstacles along the way. Not only have we survived these challenges, we have thrived through them. The Bank is as strong today as it’s ever been. A great deal of our success and strength comes from our people. I am humbled to work with such a kind, thoughtful, smart and dedicated group of individuals. As our team implemented the plan to respond to COVID-19, these individuals were laser focused on ensuring that your services went uninterrupted while keeping everyone safe and healthy.

In this period of great uncertainty and unrest, I am proud to say that community banks remain one of the safest and most secure places for your money. Superior National Bank has stood by our customers and community in good times as well as hard times for 130 years, and we are dedicated to continuing our tradition of superior service to you.

Best,
J. David Vlahos
President & CEO
