What are Card Controls in MySNB and SecurLOCK Equip?
With Card Controls you have the ability to control how and when your debit card is used.
- Turn your cards on and off in real-time.
- Control where your debit card can be used through your phone's GPS services or by selecting authorized zip codes.
- Control the types of merchants where your card can be used, such as in-store or online.
- Receive instant push notification alerts on your phone when your debit card is used.
How do I start controlling my card?
You can control your card in your MySNB Mobile app or download the SecurLOCK Equip app from your app store and register your card.
Is there a fee?
No. The Card Control service is provided to you for FREE so you have more convenience and control over your card.
What if I am having trouble with the controls or with registering my card?
There is a Help option in the MySNB Mobile app. Navigate to the More option in your app, then select Help. The topic Establish Card Controls features Q & A’s and a Feature Walkthrough. If you are still have difficulties, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (866)482-0404.
Will I know if my card is being used?
Yes, if you have Alerts enabled. Set your Alerts option to All Transactions and you will receive a push notification to your phone every time a transaction is attempted.
How long does it take for a control or alert to take effect?
It happens immediately after you set and save the option. For example, if you turn your card “OFF”, and try to use it, it will not work. Turn it back “ON”, and it is on instantly and ready for use.
