Retail Banking Associate - L'Anse

The RBA facilitates the consumer and mortgage loan origination and closing process, partnering with consumer lenders and customers to accept and discuss consumer and mortgage loan applications.  Acts as executive assistant to loan officers.

Primary duties:

  • Analyzes title work, flood certification, property appraisals
  • Review and analyze property deeds, purchase agreements, other recordable instruments
  • Full understanding of loan products and services

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • Associateís or Bachelorís degree preferred or equivalent experience and skill
  • NMLS Certification (may be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Strong customer service background
  • Strong communication skills

Loan Clerk

The position will assist with commercial, mortgage, and consumer loans. Primary emphasis will be typing, processing, and maintaining all loan files. This position will also assist in the servicing of all loan customers. In addition, this position will assist with scanning and other duties as assigned.

Job Skills & Qualifications Required
The applicant must have proficient computer and typing skills, knowledge of software applications (i.e. Word and Excel), outstanding customer service skills, and professionalism in person, on the phone, and in written correspondence. In addition, the applicant must be able to handle all cash transactions, balance, have a high degree of accuracy and speed in their work, handle customer issues, and perform all other duties as assigned and/or necessary. The candidate must work well independently, learn quickly, follow directions, and work well and agreeably with branches and departments. It may be necessary to prove computer competency through testing.
